Finally, Angela sent me some pictures of Nathan. You haven't seen him in a long time, so I thought I would bring you up to speed on what he's been up to.
This is a photo from Halloween. He was a cowboy.
Now isn't that just about the cutest little cowboy you've ever seen!!!! --Grandma bragging rights inserted here ;)
He also went to the pumpkin patch---Woah----that's a huge pumpkin for such a little boy---
These are the socks I made for him last year. Looks like they are just a tad short. So, back to the stash to find some more yarn to make him another pair. (They grow up so fast, don't they?)
He has been wearing the Little Digger sweater that I made for John and him last year, but Angela said it's getting a little too short now as well. All he wants to wear are sweaters made by Grandma. (Isn't that sweet). I've been thinking about some different options for him. We'll see what I come up with.
Meanwhile, Angela got a cute photo of him modeling one of his new purchased sweaters:
I haven't seen this little guy since last Christmas. They are getting ready to move back to this side of the country soon. I'm so glad. Eight hours is a lot closer than 5 days (which is how long it took John and I to get out to Washington to see them last year----of course we didn't try to drive it in 2 1/2 days as some people do). They will be relocating to Louisville, KY so that Seth can go to seminary. When he finishes up, he will go back into the army as a chaplain. Edit: Just thought of something: anyone living in the Louisville area know of jobs that might be available for Angela? She's going to have to go to work when they get there. She has a degree in communications. Also, if you have any information on the best places to live and good day care facilities, that would be great!!!!!
Time to put the computer away and start my errands. Hope you all have a wonderful day.
Oh my gosh, he is the CUTEST!!! And getting so BIG!! Grandma bragging rights definitely deserved.

Oh he is so cute, and how sweet he loves wearing your handknits. I love the digger sweater too.

Love the knits. That sweater is wonderful. Gotta love a kid who only wants to wear his Grandma's special hand knit items. : )
